T & T: Dungeness crab

Live dungeness crab, steamed at home - 2+

J's comment > Last year (sometime in the fall), I got one of their crabs that was on sale. After cooking it, I opened the cooking lid, and the crab smelled of ammonia! The meat inside the crab was almost entirely pink; it was gross! I had a craving for it though today however, so I bit the bullet and got the expensive type. This time, the crab was fine. Just to compare, I got one of the cheap ones again, and that was fine too. I guess I was just unlucky last time...
