Seasons in the Park

September 7, 2013

16 oz Bone-in Rib Eye - 2+

J's comment > definitely better than the strip loin and baseball cut below

Seafood Linguine Carbonara w bacon, prawns, snapper, scallops - 2+

Beef Carpaccio w shaved grana padano, capers, dijonnaise - 2+

10 oz Fraser Valley Pork Chop w green apple & parsley - 2+

J's comment > quite a thick cut, yet very juicy

Miso Marinated Sablefish w soy vinaigrette, steamed rice - 2+

J's comment > sablefish was delish; didn't get to try the sides, but I heard it didn't taste great as a whole

Penne Arrabbiata w roasted eggplant, spicy tomato sauce, crumbled goat cheese - 2+

Shrimp Pizza w spicy mascarpone, fresh dill, capers, red onion - 2+

Steak & Prawns: 6oz baseball cut steak & grilled garlic prawns - 2

J's comment > didn't try the prawns, but rib eye marble was better for me.

24 oz New York Striploin - 2

J's comment > slightly dry, marble rib-eye better

Cheese Tasting Board (left to right)

Bleubry creamy blue cheese - 2

Perron 2 year old white cheddar - 2

Le Cendrillon vegetable-ash goat cheese - 2

Extra Note
Once again, my theory of 'better the view, crappier the food' has failed. Very pleased about this. :)
