West Oak

October 16, 2013

Beet and Goat Cheese salad - 2+

Sablefish w sweet pea arborio rice, vegetables, orange tarragon beurre blanc - 2

J's comment > sablefish was a bit boiled, you can see from the picture that it wasn't seared deeply enough, just a smidgen fishy, but passable. Rice was OK.

Beef Carpaccio w confit garlic, parmesan, arugula, herb aioli, crostini - 2

J's comment > the carpaccio was a bit thicker than I would like, crostinis were awesome though.

Fresh baked cookies w vanilla bean cream - 2

J's comment > pardon the container pic, we were in a rush so we had to get this to go.

The Old Fashioned: Maker's Mark bourbon, raw sugar, orange zest, bitters - 2
