Fish House

November 3, 2013

Truffled Prawns: Grilled prawns, wild mushroom & pork cheek ragu, smoked potato puree, black truffle beurre blanc - 2+

J's comment > the beurre blanc went tremendously well with the prawns and ragu pairing, prawns were grilled perfectly and pork cheeks were definitely melt-in-your-mouth tender

Intermezzo: Passionfruit sorbet - 2+

J's comment > very finely shaved ice, no lumpy ice bits at all, tasty through and through to the last sorbet particle :)

Asparagus Salad: Crisp asparagus, candied walnuts, duck confit & pecorino fritter, citrus vinaigrette - 2

J's comment > I didn't really get the duck in the duck confit... just tasted cheese. Pecorino was too strong.

Roasted Garlic & Escargot Vichyssoise: Pureed roasted garlic & russet potatoes, escargot, crispy bacon - 2

J's comment > very 'Campbells'. :(

Complimentary bread and lobster oil balsamic vinaigrette - 2

Varrine: Passion fruit whipped ganache, oreo strusel, coconut sponge, compressed pineapple - 2+
