Scallops & Polenta: Seared scallops, polenta cakes, green beans, tomatoes, garlic butter - 2+

J's comment > OMG, the polenta was so creamy, best polenta I've ever had. Scallops were just the slightest bit overdone though.

Complimentary amuse bouche - 2

J's comment > you can't go wrong w brie & toast.

Fresh Pasta: House made pasta w tomato sauce and chicken, spinach - 2

J's comment > loved the garlic butter bread, but the pasta had a slightly funny taste to it. I would have liked it to be more 'saucy'. Chicken was cooked really well.

Porcini Brulee: Porcini custard, crimini mushrooms, parmesan, sugar crust - 2

J's comment > this is exactly what you think it is: a savoury creme brulee. A definitely interesting concept, this dish was both sweet (sugar crust) and savoury (porcini custard) and cold and warm at the same time... slightly confusing but tasty.

Goat cheese fondue - 2

J's comment > the lightest cheese fondue I've ever had. I think the cheese tasted better on its own since its so light.

Chocolate pot de creme - 2

J's comment > really rich, and for the first time, a dark chocolate that really stands out for me. Has a faint cake-like texture.

Pumpkin cheesecake - 2

J's comment > loved the crumble and cheesecake combo, unfortunately, too little crumble and it's all the way at the bottom. As pumpkin cheesecake goes, not bad, but I believe there was gelatin in this (?) and ergo had a much stiffer texture than I like.
