Buttermilk Pancakes w salted caramel butter, maple syrup, hash browns & 2 eggs - 3

J's comment > OMG... these pancakes were divine... soft, fluffy w a light crisp on the edges, syrup doesn't 'disappear' when drizzled on top, hard 3; not sure why it came w eggs though... kinda weird, but eggs weren't bad either.

Red Wine Braised Beef Cheek Poutine: Merlot braised Albertain beef cheeks, house cut fries, caramelized onions, fresh cheese curds, and pickled mushrooms - 2+

J's comment > quite tasty for a poutine; somehow the fries retained some of its crispness despite sitting in the jus (no easy feat mind you); cheese curds pulled apart nicely instead of clumping all together like it usually does. FYI, this is Kingston's contribution to the 3rd Annual Poutine Challenge organized by R. Wolak (Vancouver Foodster)

Salmon Eggs Benedict: House cured salmon, arugula, fried capers, hash browns, dill/chive hollandaise - 2

J's comment > not bad, but salmon was slightly fishy

Orange juice - 2
