Caramelized Ginger Black Cod: Black cod topped w black sweet soy sauce w caramelized ginger, garlic, shallots & rice wine - 2+
J's comment > really good! Fish was moist and flaked off beautifully, the way a perfectly cooked black cod should be, skin was very crispy; ginger flavor not too strong either (I'm not a fan of ginger); slightly salty though, I think the chef went a little overboard w the soy sauce; still, a very nice dish, get some rice for this to tamper down the flavors |

Rendang Beef Curry: Boneless, tender beer cooked w a paste of ground onion, lemongrass and chili in a spicy curry - 2
J's comment > not bad actually, but beef chunks way too big and on the dry side; curry very tasty |

Appetizer Sampler
Roti Canai - 2
Chicken Satay - 2
Spring rolls - 2
Calamari - 2
J's comment > loved the curry dip for the roti canai; the appetizers were passable, but nothing spectacular; the batter on the calamari was on the verge of being soft |

Tumeric rice - 2 |
 |
Papaya salad - 2
J's comment > came as part of the Appetizer Sampler (above), not bad, but nothing special |
 |
Coconut rice - 2
J's comment > rice overdone, almost paste-like |
 |
Honey Mango Sunshine: Mango juice, pineapple juice, orange juice & honey - 2
J's comment > impossible to stir and mix up the honey in this - I tried for 5 mins straight; so what happens is that you get a chunk of honey first when you sip through the straw and have to pull up the straw from the honey that is all congealed at the bottom to get any of the mixed juice. Tad too much trouble for me. |

Ice milk tea - 2
J's comment > not overly sweet, not bad |
