Tasting Platter

Coco prawns rolled in toasted coconut and served w a firecracker orange marmalade - 2

Jerk wings (baked) - 2

Chana salad: Warm garam masala curried chickpea salad w organic greens, roti & dahl - 2

Plantain chips: Crisp fried w jerk mayo - 2

J's comment > prawns were pleasantly plump and quite sweet, even more so after dipping it in the marmalade; jerk wings were quite unique, not spicy nor BBQ-ish, but just... different; salad was not bad, I like chick peas so this worked out; chips were on the soggy side

Kingston Quesadilla: Flour tortilla stuffed with jerk chicken, peppers, cheddar & refried beans with fresh tomato salsa & sour cream - 2

Yardie Yam Fries: Hand cut and thick with jerk mayo - 1

J's comment > quesadilla was good, very cheesy, but this unfortunately was also its downfall as you can't taste the chicken at all; fries were semi-hard/soft w no flavor or notable texture, definitely one of the worse ones I've had

Dominica Beef: Cumin & garlic marinated tenderloin tips with salsa verde served w mashed potatoes & local vegetables - 2

J's comment > beef was tender but slightly dry

Complimentary Johnny cakes & mango butter - 2

J's comment > cakes were cold, butter was OK (had a slight oil after-finish that I wasn't fond of, but flavor good)

Batido de Pina: Pineapple shake - 2

J's comment > on the watery side, w trace flavors of pineapple; I'd call this a slush more than a shake
