Afternoon Tea Special: Chocolate fondue sauce w 6 ice-cream truffles & 4 toppings - 2+ J's comments > loved loved loved the chocolate sauce, molten liquid chocolate, just like Mink's Paul Dean White Trash Trainwreck, but thicker and and oh-so-dippable; ice cream were really hard, perfect for dipping without melting, they all held up very well after drowning each nugget in the molten chocolate, but unfortunately the flavor of each ice-cream nugget disappeared under the chocolate flavor; I did sneak nibbles of each nugget though and they were not bad on their own either; for toppings we had Skor bits, peanuts, honey graham, coconut flakes; we drowned the nuggets in the chocolate and then mushed the confection in each dip, but none of the toppings really held that well on top of the chocolate; fav for combo was the peanuts; neither the Skor bits nor honey graham were that flavorful; loved the coconut flakes texture, but again, dominant chocolate sauce overwhelmed all other flavors |
