Christie: Chips Ahoy

April 6, 2014

Christie, Chips Ahoy, Ice Cream Creations: Dulche de Leche - 2+

J's comment > a firm crispy cookie; mild dulche de leche flavor; but the combo of the crispness and flavor reminded me of crispy carmelly bits

Christie, Chips Ahoy, Ice Cream Creations, Chewy: Mint Chocolate Chip - 2

J's comment > not bad; cookie was soft and chewy as promised; chocolate mint flavor packs a punch and is quite the minty cookie; loved the flavor but I never was a soft cookie fan

hristie, Chips Ahoy, Ice Cream Creations, Chewy: Mocha Chunk - 2

J's comment > cookie base was very similar to the mint above, soft and chewy as promised w the chunky texture advertised; mocha flavor really mild though

Fun Fact
During my research on the Chips Ahoy, I found out that Christie is just a brand used in Canada; in the States it's Nabisco, which is owned by Mondelez International (formerly by Kraft which now just focuses on the non-snacking groceries). Source: Wiki

Extra Notes
Tried these out at the 2014 GSW show that I was invited to cover by LBMG.
