Cheddar & chives biscuit - 2+

J's comment > really soft when heated up; cheese flavor present, but cheesy texture not so much, still, loved the soft biscuit texture

Chicken Tangine - 2

J's comment > not bad; very homemade feel to this dish, which was most appreciated; tasted really healthy too, w an abundance of tomatoes; loved the sweetness of the raisins shining through; chicken pieces were a bit on the small / shredded side, would have preferred larger chunks of tender chicken

French Kiss Tartine: Toasted rye bread, brie, walnuts & honey - 2

J's comment > loved the texture of the bread, an excellent balance of dense and fluffiness, 2+ just for the bread; toppings unfortunately really average - brie hardly had any flavor, insufficient honey to brighten the flavor, walnuts... err... do those look like walnuts to you, or bits of crushed up nuts? FYI, the restaurant/bakery sells the bread on its own

Rice crispies square w Rolo, Snickers pieces, peanut M&Ms, chocolate chunks - 2

J's comment > not very crisp, texture on the soft-side; marshmallow flavor very subtle; the additional extras in the mix definitely kicked up an otherwise dead boring rice crispies square a little bit

Rocky Road Bar - 2

J's comment > marshmallow bits chunky and obvious; chocolate flavor completely absent though you can see it; nuts texture present but no flavor at all

Lemon raspberry loaf - 2

J's comment > way too much raspberry, not enough lemon; texture of loaf soft and borderline moist; icing way too sweet even w the loaf as a base

Corn bread - 2

J's comment > really dense and borderline dry and mealy; not a fan
