Cardo Pizza: Fresh artichokes, fontina, calbrian chili, basil, w extra buffalo mozzarella - 2+
J's comment > best non-tomato base pizza I've had; loved the fresh artichokes, really guys, there's a BIG difference between fresh and canned artichokes; fontina cheese not too strong; trace amts of chili, not spicy; unfortunately though, you really do need to request the addition of the mozzarella for that extra cheesiness |

Albacore Tuna Crudo w citrus, oil cured olives, sorrel - 2+
J's comment > very fresh tuna; citrus oranges were all sweet; strong olive flavor from the base (I'm not a fan of olives, but these were OK); nicely done |
 |
Strozzapreti w crispy chicken, caciocavallo, soffrito (round 1) - 2
J's comment > not bad; loved the strozzapreti pasta, an excellent bouncy texture, perfectly al dente as expected from Campagnolo; chicken was anything but 'crispy' though, skin especially was soggy and chicken itself was a tad salty, and we informed our server as much. she promptly removed the dish and brought back round two (below) |

Strozzapreti w crispy chicken, caciocavallo, soffrito (round 2) - 2
J's comment > so it appears that this dish was just about the reverse of the dish above; chicken was crispy-ier this time around, still not as crunch-like chicken as I expected, but it wasn't soggy at least; pasta unfortunately was slightly smidgen overdone from the perfectly cooked edition in round 1 |

Rhubarb Cake w butterscotch, crema, laurel - 2
J's comment > very dense cake, reminded me of an upscale version of a Fruit and Grain bar; rhubarb pieces on top were of the dehydrated variety which was OK, but rendered memories of the Fruit Roll-Ups |

Agrodolce: Aranciata, soda water, bitters - 2
J's comment > a lightly flavored soda water; trace amt of bitters |
 |
Macchiato - 2
J's comment > coffee most bitter |
