Ling Cod fish & chips, served w hand cut kennebec fries, toasted fennel coleslaw, house-made tartar sauce - 2 J's comment > loved the freshness and crispness of the fries, though they were a tad salty; fish batter was just the tiniest bit too thick, fry was good but the oil used left a weird (as in not good) taste on the fish batter; fish itself was borderline dry; entire dish was served piping hot, but nevertheless failed to impress FYI, this dish is on special every Thursday for $10; yes, I'm currently on a mission to try out all the Glowbal Group's specials, yesterday's was Black and Blue's $10 beef dip, tomorrow, back to Black and Blue for the Friday $11 burger and beer; not to worry, to be fair I will be trying Coast's and Italian Kitchen's in the weeks to come ;). |
