Pan roasted halibut, cauliflower puree, pine nut raisin agrodulce - 2
J's comment > not bad; halibut seared nicely and cooked well all the way through, but smelled slightly fish (in the not-so-good way); puree added a nice touch to the halibut, but everything together, the complements and the star just didn't work that great together |

Beef brisket, miso gorgonzola crust, beets - 2
J's comment > not bad; smoky is the word the moment the dish got set down; brisket very tender, although not the easiest to tear apart w just the chopsticks; strong gorgonzola flavor from the crust; beets were pretty but didn't really add to the dish |

"dan dan" rutabega noodle salad, tofu, almonds - 2
J's comment > 'nutty' is the word for this dish; rutabaga crisp; dan dan sauce definitely on the spicy side; note: toss really well before digging in to thoroughly coat the noodles |

Caramelised banana napoleon, dulce de leche, coffee jelly - 2
J's comment > not bad; very crispy flakes that didn't shatter everywhere (just where you're tapping) when cracking through from top to bottom; banana creme between the layers OK; coffee jelly not strong enough to cut through / meld w the banana scent |

Old school negroni- 7 gins, 4 vermouths, 7 italian bitters, splash of sherry - 2
J's comment > not too bitter; slightly subdued flavors |
