Spring pea shoots, morels, salted plum - 2

J's comment > pea shoots very tender, not chewy or stringy in the least; loved the texture contract w the peas

Market asparagus w slow poached egg, miso butter - 2

J's comment > very tender asparagus; egg was OK; the butter definitely helped bump this dish up

Tuna, cerignola, kizami wasabi, preserved tomato - 2

J's comment > waaay too much wasabi, making it near impossible to actually taste the tuna, although what amt of wasabi that I managed to scrape off, the resulting tuna underneath was very fresh and tasty

Polenta chips w baccalĂ  montecato - 2

J's comment > the polenta chips were very crisp, reminiscent of shrimp chips you'd get underneath your peking duck slices @ a chinese restaurant; unfortunately, it was too close to the shrimp chips which are, well, avg; the baccalĂ  montecato (dried cod mousse) on the other hand was very tasty, most creamy and not fishy in the least; could have used a LOT more of the mousse though; even just looking at the dish, it's obvious there's not enough 'dip'

Complimentary bread and olive oil - 2

J's comment > loved the slight bitterness of the olive oil; bread was soft in the center w a chewy crust as is avg

Cavatelli w ricotta, spicy tomato, basil - 2

J's comment > a tad better than the garganelli below, but nonetheless a tad too al dente and the ricotta was absolutely flavorless; tomato sauce was passable

Garganelli w peekytoe crab, citrus, tarragon - 2

J's comment > pasta tad too al dente; crap slightly fishy, didn't taste very fresh
