Doughseed donut: Creme brulee - 2

J's comment > not bad; texture spongy and at the risk of being blasphemous, reminded me strongly of Dominique Ansel's Cronut's donut component (or in other words, imagine the Cronut without the croissant); caramelized top a tad too sweet, too thick and too crunchy though

Cake donut: Tres Leches - 2

J's comment > definitely cakey texture, moist, but not dripping moist as the dessert 'tres leches' suggests; didn't get much of the tres leches flavor either, ie the condensed milk that is signature of an avg tres leches cake
