Mamedaihuku - 2
J's comment > not bad; mochi not as sticky as the sakura mochi below; the texture of the whole red beans sticking out was a nice break from the overall red bean paste / mochi confection, giving it a slight push over the sakura mochi |

Sakura Mochi - 2
J's comment > not bad; slightly salted, mochi was the avg sticky rice kind of mochi; didn't get a sakura flavor (not sure if sakura actually has a flavor) but there was red bean in the center |

Hanaohto jelly - 2
J's comment > jelly was very soft but not much cherry flavor, rather there was surprisingly alcoholish tinge to this jelly, or perhaps there was some fermentation of the fruit going on? |

Matcha white chocolate mochi - 2
J's comment > the chocolate was actually hard in the center, I thought and would have preferred it melted and whipped into the mochi; matcha flavor not too strong |

Extra Note
These are actually called 'wagashi' and are traditional Japanese sweets, usually served in the Japanese tea ceremony.
BTW, I got some more wagashi to take back to Vancouver, so when I try same, I'll post their pics and reviews here.
