Hey y'all,
I present my reviews on the dinners I had in NYC on five restaurants with Michelin star ratings and one newbie restaurant on the scene:
** - Momofuko Ko (asian fusion tasting menu) - longest blog post I've ever typed and I'm not sure it was worth it.
* - 15 East (Japanese, nigiri focus) - psh! absolutely over-rated. Go to Octopus Garden in Vancouver for better nigiri
** - Jungsik (Korean) - J's absolute FAVE!! OMG... this was truly the best meal of my life!
All'Onda (Italian w a touch of Japanese fusion) - what a disappointment, hardly the 'good stuff' that other reviewers have been raving about, did not get the 'touch of Japanese fusion' either
* - Kajitsu (Japanese, kaiseki style) - deep frying skillz
*** - Jean Georges (French, dress code enforced) - another disappointment... not bad, but. therein the 'but'.
