#106 Crispy boneless duck (half duck) w fried noodle - 2+

J's comment > as advertised; skin of the duck was crisp, crisper still on the end pieces that had less meat; meat extremely tender, cooked perfectly; slightly greasy from the duck fat, but easily removable; not a single bone in the duck; noodles were for once snipped up so that on picking up same w your chopsticks you get exactly the portion you wanted to pick up, and not half of the entire portion of noodles that you have to awkwardly nibble off what you can't stuff in your mouth (yes, I have a pet peeve about this); flavors of the noodle not bad either

Sweet Sour Sauce - 2+

J's comment > more of a soup than a sauce, seriously the best sweet and sour soup I've ever had; excellent balance of the sweet and sour components, slightly more sweet than sour; cashews and mushrooms lent the right amt of texture; very well done

#33 Rare beef & brisket noodle soup - 2

J's comment > not bad; broth was very tasty and light; rice noodles cooked well, did not taste 'ricey' as some pho noodles do; beef was OK, could have done w a few more pieces of beef, but the true star of this dish (as it should be) was the broth

#02 Shrimp salad roll - 2

J's comment > not bad; shrimp was warm whilst the other ingredients were cold; wrap was bouncy and resilient; roll wrapped well, did not fall apart; dipping sauce went well w the roll, did not overwhelm the subtle flavors of the roll

Complimentary guava candies - 2

J's comment > very strong guava flavor; not too sweet
