Tuna Avocado crepe - 2

J's comment > not bad; very fresh tuna, avocado ripe; soft crepe wrap, good flavors; this was exactly what I expected, but not more than that

Tuna & salmon wasabi tempura - 2

J's comment > not bad; flash fried very well, leaving the fish still raw in the center but delicately cooked on the edges; tempura crust could have been a tad crispier though, and would have loved a tad more flavor - the jelly on the side was delish to add to the tempura fish, but unfortunately didn't actually stick onto the piece so you still end up w very little sauce

Beef tongue curry w deep fried bun - 2

J's comment > not bad; loved the deep fried bread, best deep fried bread ever, so crunchy on the outside and seriously pillow-soft in the center; curry though, was too similar to the Glico type w a nice touch of the blue cheese; beef tongue was tender but tasted 'funny', almost gamey

Hamachi - 2

Yazu (Young yellowtail) - 2

Tamago nigiri - 2

J's comment > not bad; fish were very fresh and cut skillfully, not a single tendon to be found, but the portion of rice to fish leaned too heavily in the rice's direction; tamago wasn't bad, but was served cold, I prefer it warm à la Octopus Garden

Grilled shio-koji marinated chicken - 2

J's comment > slightly salty, chicken skin not crisp at all; temp diff of the warm chicken and the cold shio koji on top was an interesting touch
