Dunlevy Snack Bar

July 22, 2014

Bun: Korean fried chicken, lime mayo, house kimchi - 2

J's comment > not bad; very juicy chicken, would have been better without the bun actually :P w more mayo and a tad less kimchi; bun itself was OK, soft w a bit of bounce

Bun: Pork belly, cilantro, chili, lime gochujong - 2

J's comment > not bad; tender pork belly; sauce just the slightest bit intense

Steak, pickled jicama & watercress tostada w garlic mustard seed yogurt - 2

J's comment > very crisp tostada; would have liked more steak; the plate actually arrived completely covered w the watercress, I had to push it back just to reveal the steak - never had a steak dish w so much more veggie than the actual steak; steak flavor was OK, but its appearance suggested beef jerky

House made coconut ice cream w peaches - 2

J's comment > not bad; ice cream very creamy w decent coconut flavor; texture of cashews a good touch for crunch factor; peaches ripe and went very well w the coconut

33 Acres Life - 2

J's comment > not bad; tad more hoppy than the Sunshine but easy to drink
