Butter Chicken: Boneless chicken (dark meat) marinated in Indian spices, cooked w ginger, garlic, onion, cream and tomato sauce, served w rice (small) - 2+
J's comment > very creamy sauce w just the right amt of tomato for balance, not spicy; generous amts of chicken, all very juicy and tender (all dark meat although the menu said chicken breast, good for me, I prefer dark meat); rice was surprisingly lightly salted and well washed, another surprising factor was that this was not the usual Basmati grain you get at Indian joints, I think the rice served was Jasmine - it still worked!; very home-y cooking - you can see |

Beef Samosa: Deep fried stuffed crispy patties w peas, onions and spices served w chutney - 2
J's comment > loved the chutney sauce but the samosa, whilst crispy on the edges, was not so much towards the heftier end; way more potato than beef too, but flavors were OK |

Home made Gulab Jaman - 2
J's comment > not bad; despite the glaring coating of brown sugar granules, this was not as sweet as dreaded (still pretty sweet, but not to the point of saccharine); the granules texture didn't come through either which was good, although this wasn't the smoothest made gulab jaman either; texture was not stiff, kinda like a very soft bread pudding |

Masala Chai tea - 2
J's comment > not bad; very well blended spices, not too strong, slightly creamy |
