#A2 Hainanese Chicken Rice (large) - 2+

J's comment > chicken very juicy, tender and flavorful, even tastier w the sauce; rice unfortunately hard and didn't have as much of the drippings' flavor as promised, it was just hard rice; definitely just get the chicken on its own

#B1 Seafood laksa noodle soup - 2

J's comment > laksa flavor OK, slightly spicy; noodles dense, no bounce at all; seafood avg

#D1 Curry beef brisket rice - 2

J's comment > beef very tender; curry OK, but nowhere near Mui Garden's signature; rice just as hard as the one that came w the Hainanese chicken

#S1 Roti Canai - 2

J's comment > flaky but greasy and limp; sauce OK

#F3 Oyster sauce bean sprouts - 2

J's comment > your avg cooked bean sprouts but the sauce did give it a bit of a lift

#S2 Bak kut teh (meat bone tea) soup - 2

J's comment > reminiscent of chinese herbal soup; pork belly tender; full Wiki info here

#S6 Chee Cheong Fun (rice noodle roll) - 2

J's comment > another dense noodle dish, no bounce at all; fish cakes OK

#S5 Spicy Yin Zhen Fen (silver needle noodles) - 2

J's comment > slightly spicy; similar ingredients and 'feel' to the Chee Cheong Fun above except for different shape pasta & sauce; noodles equally unimpressive

#T4 Sago Gula Melaka (tapioca pudding w palm sugar) - 2

J's comment > not sure where the brown palm sugar went from the picture on the menu but I don't see it in this dish, do you? traces of the coconut milk and caramel, would have like a lot more of the sauce; sago OK

#T1 Bubur Chacha (sweet soup w taro and tapioca pearls) - 2

J's comment > subtle flavors; taro soft and texture present but tapioca pearls too dominant, barely got anything else out of this dessert

#U1 Fresh corn juice - 2

J's comment > very subtle corn flavor although there were actual corn chunks; not too sweet; not sure what the white color was about, but I don't think it was milk or coconut milk, but it definitely wasn't 'juice'
