Nigiri platter (left to right) Toro - 2 Salmon - 2 Hamachi - 2 Anago - 2 Tamago - 2 Avocado roll - 2 J's comment > not bad; all the fish were insanely fresh and beautifully cut, not a single tendon on any of the pieces; rice was well vinegared too; all the pieces were a tad too big though but at least the portions were in equal ratio of fish and rice, unlike Yuji's from Japan which had way too much rice to fish; when picking up the sushi w the chopsticks and inverting same to dip the fish in soy sauce, the piece stayed intact which was quite a feat; avocado roll was avg; wasabi was not spicy at all, even after adding whole chunks to the fish on top |

#2 Ohitashi: Spinach w special sauce - 2 J's comment > tad salty; spinach tender but the fishyness from the bonito flakes won the flavor battle in this dish; didn't really get the 'special sauce' |
