Chinese donuts - 2

J's comment > slightly hard (not stale, just hard); perfect for dipping in the congee (below), these did not get soggy too quickly as most are wont to do; not the best for eating straight up though, another win for Bao Bei...

#66 Preserved egg w pork congee - 2

J's comment > very watery, flavors of preserved egg and pork very mild; served boiling hot though

#44 Pineapple bun w fresh butter - 2

J's comment > not bad; very soft pineapple bun served slightly warm, crust could be a tad crisper w stronger 'pineapple' flavor; butter woefully tasted like fridge :(

Soy sauce chow mein - 2

J's comment > your avg chow mein, not too salty nor greasy, but not very flavorful either

Ice lemon tea - 2

J's comment > not bad; not too sweet (as requested); the kind you have to mush the lemon yourself which I usually dislike as it takes forever to get the right ratio, but the ingredients in this lemon tea made it easy for just a few squishes of the lemon to get the right balance
