#45 Crispy Pata: Deep fried pork hock (large) - 2

J's comment > very crisp but slightly hard skin; meat tender and moist; lots of skin, fat and bones, actual meat portion woefully small

#105 Inihaw na Liempo: Grilled pork belly - 2

J's comment > slightly salty and tough meat; didn't get the richness of the fat from the pork belly but the fat was visually present

#116 Garlic rice (small) - 2

J's comment > strong garlic flavors, rice texture OK

#97 Miki Bihon: Rice & egg noodles w meat & vegetables - 2

J's comment > liked the contrasting textures' mix of the rice and egg noodles; noodles cooked OK; this dish also had pork liver which was dry and tough (you can opt for no liver if you tell the server); found a few pieces of shrimp in this too, not sure if this ingredient is supposed to be in this dish or if it was a 'bonus'

#10 Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus: Tamarind-based seafood soup w milkfish belly - 1

J's comment > sour like the Chinese sweet and sour soup but without the sweet aspect; slightly fishy (this soup had milk fish in it actually)

#149 Halo halo - 2

J's comment > strong ube (taro) flavor in the ube ice cream; lots of different items that were all distinguishable; not too sweet

#145 Sago at Gulaman - 1

J's comment > the sugar... borderline saccharine syrup juice; pearls really soft, almost mushy; jelly also soft but still identifiable in jelly form
