Avocado Roll - 2
Five Spice Pork Belly Roll-2
J's comment > the avocado roll was not bad; on paper and in my hand, it reminded me of the Japanese avocado maki, and I was so certain that was what it would remind me of taste-wise as well, but nope! It's actually quite different, very distinctively Vietnamese roll; very generous portion of ripe avocado too;
sadly the same can't be said for the pork belly roll; I had to really squint to find the pork belly, and there was a really mild flavor of the pork belly too; the rolls however, were both well wrapped, the wrapper just a tad too sticky, almost ripping several times, but it was thick enough to withstand
the menu lists $6 for two, but you might be able to get $3 for one, or ask nicely like I did, to get two different types for the same $6 |

Daily Special: Coconut curry chicken - 2
J's comment > not bad; just a tad salty yet mild and fragrant curry; chicken was firm yet juicy (weird, I know); comes w either the vermicelli noodles that I got (OMG, really good when you dip it into the curry, heehee... kinda like tsukemen), baguette or rice |

Traditional Vietnamese ham banh mi (baguette) - 2
J's comment > fluffy and soft bun; sauce good, veggies fresh, but too much veggies; would have preferred way more meat (there were like just these two sad-looking and thin pieces all the way buried underneath the veggies |
