Fraser Valley Pork Teppan Gyoza w spicy garlic soy & umami soy sauce - 2
J's comment > not bad; firm and crisp pork; wrapper slightly elastic, held everything together well; sauces OK, made in anticipation of diners drowning their gyozas, hence even on drowning same, the gyozas don't turn out too salty; one of the better gyozas I've had, but I'm not a keen gyoza fan |

Pork Tonkotsu Broth Ramen topped w aburi pork char siu & tamago - 2
J's comment > salty broth but not rich nor heavy as expected of a tonkotsu; noodles firm, almost underdone; char siu OK, would have liked more than one piece; a decent ramen but there are many more ramen joints around town that offer better fare for less |

Chicken Nanban w tartar, asian slaw, pretzel bun served w fingerling chips and market salad - 2
J's comment > tender chicken, flavor good; pretzel bun had a slightly charred flavor; the 'chips' were just roasted potatoes, but pretty tasty potatoes, tender and not too starchy |

Chili shrimp & pickled daikon gyoza w wasabi chimichurri - 2
J's comment > sadly not as tasty as the pork gyoza above, there wasn't as much filling in these, and although the shrimp was decent, it didn't taste as 'fresh' as the pork (?); wasn't spicy in the least |

Ricotta Crepe w yuzu-fig jam, yogurt sorbet - 2
J's comment > a decent buckwheat crepe, much better than Ze Bite's, soft texture, not as bouncy as 'regular' crepes though; packed w ricotta; jam flavor could be stronger |

Extra Comment
Line up still going on, but not as crazy as 2 weeks ago (slowly dying down methinks). FYI, the staff will not seat you unless your entire party has arrived.
