Kung Fu Noodle

September 3, 2014

KungFu Dandan Mein - 2

J's comment > not bad; hand sliced noodles a touch al dente w a bouncy texture, each noodle was perfectly even from end to end despite being manually sliced; not spicy at all despite the warning on the menu; pb sauce not too strong either; would have loved a tad more meat and just a bit stronger flavor

Lanzhou stretched noodle - 2

J's comment > not bad; hand pulled noodles were just as bouncy as the ones above, but not quite as al dente; again, very mild broth, would have loved for the flavors to be a touch stronger; beef passable

Lamb skewer w cumin - 2

J's comment > not bad; lamb tender, a smidgen spicy, not too gamey, cumin flavor not too strong either; FYI, despite the menu picture, it's $1.99 per skewer, our server advised us so kudos to them for pointing that out, still, slightly sneaky though...

Stewed marbled pork & flatbread - 2

J's comment > firm bread; pork not quite as marbly as advertised

Extra Comment
In case you missed the noodles in motion pics above, every batch of noodles is made to order by hand. Very impressive! :D
