Shiang Garden / 敘香園海鮮酒樓

#39 Deep fried crispy chicken (half) - 2+

J's comment > insanely crisp skin w tender and flavorful chicken - I mean really tender and juicy; shrimp crackers on the soft side, not crunchy enough

Sauteed cod fillet w snow peas - 2

J's comment > not bad; cod firm, a smidgen overcooked but still flavorful, not fishy at all; snow peas avg

#110 Foo Chow style fried rice - 2

J's comment > not bad; good ratio of sauce to dry rice underneath, when mixed (as you should), rice was sufficiently moist but not wet; seafood OK, definitely of the frozen variety but still flavorful

#87 Sweet & sour pork w pineapple - 2

J's comment > not bad; not too dry nor fatty, juicy yet tender; S & S sauce a tad strong for my liking, but flavors were there

#35 Assorted seafood w tofu soup - 2

J's comment > the thick type of Chinese soup (FYI, Shiang Garden only serves this type of soup - we asked), personally not a fan; very clean and mild flavor though despite the texture; tofu and bits of fish OK

Complimentary red bean soup - 2

J's comment > not bad; strong red bean flavor, slightly sweet; lots of beans
