Braised short rib pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, pancetta & cream - 2

J's comment > not bad; some pasta pieces slightly stuck together, good bold cheese flavor but texture could be more melty; loved the braised rib though, very marbly and tender, the way it's supposed to be...

House made gnocchi chanterelle & truffle cream, arugula & pine nuts - 2

J's comment > not bad; gnocchi a tad on the soft side, not as good as Ca Va from yesterday, but decent

Chicken wings w garlic, honey, salt & pepper - 2

J's comment > not bad; flavor of chicken wings infused through to the meat, well done on this point; meat just a smidgen overcooked; sauce not too sweet or sticky

Bacon wrapped dates almond stuffed w maple glaze - 2

J's comment > not bad; bacon really made the it feel like you were munching on a chunk of bacon instead of the dates; very well done; not too sweet despite having both the dates and maple

Chorizo puffs chorizo in puff pastry w rosemary honey & sea salt - 2

J's comment > excellent fluffy puff pastry; would have loved a tad more honey and a lot more chorizo on the inside though

Crispy polenta fries w piquillo aioli - 2

J's comment > strong polenta flavor, very crisp on the exterior and firm on the inside; aioli a good match

Crudo pizza w little tomatoes, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula & pecorino - 2

J's comment > avg pizza, needs a lot more cheese

Meatball flight: Duck, pork & beef meatballs, w soffritto & shaved pecorino - 1

J's comment > meatballs all tasted the same, really hard to pick out the difference; texture on the firm side

House wine (happy hour special) - 2

J's comment > slightly sweet, easy to drink; FYI, I think the server said this was a Chilean Viognier but can't be sure

Marrakesh mint iced tea: Ginger infused mint tea w fresh lemon & moorish spices - 2

J's comment > mild ginger flavor, not too sweet nor sour

Happy Hour 50% off the Cicchetti menu 4 - 6pm everyday. I called ahead to confirm and the staff who picked up reconfirmed that it was just the Cicchetti menu. Thank you. Now if only Diva had properly trained staff...
