Deep fried tofu - 2

J's comment > not bad; lovely crisped exterior w soft tofu center

Pea tips in supreme broth - 2

J's comment > not bad; very tender pea tips and mild yet flavorful, non salty broth

The entire duck brought table side for the de-skining right before your eyes. Sadly, the server didn't have a clue to what he was doing and we ended up w the pieces below. BTW, doesn't look like the whole duck skin was served but then we didn't watch the server too closely. We also asked for more meat to stick to the skin, but got some of the skiniest pieces of duck skin ever. 

Peking Duck: 1st course, duck skin wrap - 2

J's comment > skin crisp, but wish had more meat as requested (see mini rant above); wraps were OK

Peking Duck: 2nd course, lettuce wrap - 2

J's comment > decent filling, lots of duck meat here (at least we now know where the duck meat went)

Marinated thin-sliced beef shank - 2

J's comment > sadly dry, not very flavorful and nowhere as impressive as last few visits; a real shame

Beef & chinese parsley egg drop soup - 2

J's comment > good flavors, but soup was thick (not my fav type of soup), w way too much parsley and beef (yes, too much beef in soup); would have liked more actual soup

Pan fried e-fu noodle - 2

J's comment > decent noodles, light and airy as the e-fu noodles are supposed to be; flavorful without being salty

Complimentary green bean sweet soup - 2

J's comment > not too sweet, but still had a cloying aftertaste (too much sugar? not sure what that cloying aftertaste is that you get sometimes from other desserts)

Stanley Wines: Cabernet Shiraz - 2+

J's comment > a very pleasant wine despite appearances; smooth and easy to drink, not much tannins
