Tortilla soup - 2

J's comment > not bad; good balance of spices, not too spicy, just a slight kick; excellent tortillas chips, didn't turn soggy for a good 5 minutes; avocado ripe but could have been cut into smaller chunks

Enchiladas: 3 Corn tortilllas w beef tinga in verde sauce, topped w feta cheese and sour cream w a side of rice and beans - 2

J's comment > not bad; very flavorful sauce, a tad too much, drowning the tortillas but the tortillas themselves were good, authentic corn tortillas; despite the amt of beef to everything else ratio (AKA not a lot), this was actually a good balance ratio; rice and beans tasty too

#5 Empanada: House made corn dough deep fried w cheese and chorizo, stuffed w lettuce, feta cheese and topped w sour cream w a side of house sauce - 2

J's comment > loved the crisp edges of the empanada but was soft and chewy on the inside; decent amt of cheese, but just texture, not much cheese flavor; chorizo slightly spicy, a decent amt; FYI, the 'side of house sauce' was distinctly MIA

Guacamole - 2

J's comment > your avg guacamole, tasty, but nothing exotically different

Complimentary tortilla chips & salsa - 2

J's comment > very crisp chips; salsa sauce tasty

Steak taco - 1

J's comment > steak was dry and bland; tortilla was good though; definitely not even in the same league as La Taqueria

Agua de Horchata: Traditional rice based and lightly sweet Mexican milk drink - 1

J's comment > really weak and watered down (although the description DID read 'agua' -> water, but still...); quite sweet, not just 'lightly'
