Sopa Azteca: Tortilla chicken soup, cheese, diced avocado & chipotle pepper - 2

J's comment > soup slightly mild, a smidgen spicy but not really; ripe avocado, liked the crisp tortilla strips on top, but they sadly melted to sogginess quick; chicken slightly dry; didn't get the cheese

Chicken Alambre (fajita): Sliced chicken brease w bell peppers, onions, bacon w traditional spices, smothered w cheese, served w tortillas & rice - 2

J's comment > dry; really dry; wished there was some sauce or something liquid-y to make this easier to ingest; rice, chicken and cheese bland; other than their respective texture, wouldn't have even known they were there; tortillas were of the 'real' variety, real corn tortillas as opposed to the flour ones most places offer instead

Pastel Tres Leches: Vanilla cake marinated w three kinds of milk and rum - 2

J's comment > moist, but as tres leches goes, could be even more moist (I'm talking completely dripping wet kind of moist); didn't get the rum; cream passable but slightly dense; La Casita's better

Hazy drinks & desserts menu
The owner caught me taking pics and seemed reluctant to allow me to continue (thank goodness I had finished w the food menu), so she held out this drinks and dessert menu about a table away and 'allowed' me to take the pic from there. Not sure why the secrecy, the entire menu is available on their website.
