Yah Yah Ya Ramen

October 24, 2014

Shoyu Ramen w chashu, seaweed, spinach, 1/2 flavored egg - 2

J's comment > flavor OK, but a tad lighter than I like (mind you we all chose the 'normal' taste with 'light' oil); chashu OK, decent marbliness, not dry nor too lean; noodles (as with the rest below,
could be a tad thicker and well, more flavorful); egg sadly cooked through in all ramens received

Shio Ramen w chashu, seaweed, spinach, 1/2 flavored egg + butter corn - 2

J's comment > slightly too salty for my liking; butter corn didn't really add that much even though it was 'recommended'; other than that, same comments as above

Miso Ramen w chashu, bean sprouts, seaweed, 1/2 flavored egg - 2

J's comment > miso flavor could be stronger; borderline salty; same noodles as above

Spicy Miso Ramen w chashu, bean sprouts, seaweed, 1/2 flavored egg - 2

J's comment > definitely spicy; same noodles as above

Gyoza - 2

J's comment > fried well, not too hard, wrapper on the thin side, yet didn't tear; decent amt of meat filling, yet somehow still lacked a certain je ne sais quoi...

Green onions w chashu on rice - 2

J's comment > chashu surprisingly not the same as the ones served on the ramen; these were slightly firmer and almost hard; had a strange flavor to it that I wouldn't go back for
