26 Beach

Baja Benedict: Crispy tortillas, fried eggs, chorizo, cilantro-jalapeno cream sauce all served over brown rice and beans - 2+

J's comment > insanely crisp tortilla underneath the egg that just sealed everything together; beautifully cooked egg and very flavorful rice; could have used a lot more chorizo though, perhaps in a mini cubed form (the chorizo is the sprinkle you see in top)

Eggs Quattro Fromage Pasta Scramble (scrambled eggs w pasta): Cheddar, Swiss, fresh mozzarella, goat cheese, penne pasta, and crushed red pepper- 2+

J's comment > I'm not a usual fan of penne but this was good! Perfect amt of cheese and eggs to pasta as well, slightly heavy for sure but flavors nicely delicate and subtle

Apple-Cinnamon French Toast: 2 "croissant" French toasts, warm caramelized apples and burnt pecan sauce - 2+

J's comment > intriguing, different and it works! Soft croissant but w just the slightest hint of a crisp flaky exterior that is no easy feat to pull off after being drowned in the yummy caramelized sauce; good balance of the apple (not tart either!) and cinnamon

Quadruple berry smoothie: Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, greek yogurt & almond milk - 2

J's comment > smoothie neither too sweet nor tart, a good balance
