Sweet Pannekoeken: Apples, Walnuts & Whipped Cream (half size) - 2
J's comment > just to be crystal clear right off the bat here, any of the De Dutch locations or even the Dutch Wooden Shoe Cafe on Cambie makes a better pannekoek than this place; both this sweet pannekoek and the savory (well it's really the same type of batter and cooking method, just the toppings are different) were paper thin and had hardly any pannekoek texture to it; it was essentially a really flat and bland pancake; decent amt of apples and a bit of walnuts; definitely needs the syrup and butter
Denver Sandwich: Toasted w egg, ham, green pepper, tomatoes, onions & cheddar cheese - 2
J's comment > served w brown bread as a default; apparently you have to ask for white (?) if you want white; this was actually more of an omelette sandwich as suspected; the omelette whilst neither dry nor flat, still lacked a certain something - more tomatoes perhaps...
Savory Pannekoeken: Big Pannekoek: Baby potatoes, ham, bacon, sausage, bratwurst, 2 eggs & Hollandaise sauce - 2
J's comment > same comment on the pannekoeken as above; the additions on top were just plain boring and over done / dry
Mocha - 2
J's comment >
Very greasy joint, the scent of grease just hangs in the air and my clothes still stink of grease. Wear clothing you intend to wash immediately after.
