Bufala Pizzeria

Finocchiona: Fresh fennel sausage, castelvetrano olives, caramelized onions, smoked provolone, marinara - 2+

J's comment > consistently fab just like last visit's! same ol' perfect crust - light yet substantial, neither too thin nor thick though it's definitely on the thin side; crisp and solid throughout, even the center of the pizza that usually gets soggy was perfectly fine; just as cheesy as I remembered; fennel flavor thankfully absent, as was the smokiness from the provolone, just like last time's

Daily Special Pizza: Pulled chicken, gorgonzola, crispy chicken skin & pickled onions - 2

J's comment > perfect crust as above; chicken was OK, not too dry, but not juicy either; loved the strong gorgonzola flavor but would have liked it even cheesier; chicken skin crisp as advertised

House infused olive oils for slathering on the pizza crusts: Chili, Garlic, Ham, Herb & Parmesan - 2

J's comment > all oils were really light flavored, even the chili wasn't spicy; sadly my fav from last visit's, the Herb, is no longer available

Nutella Vacherin - 2+

J's comment > very well done meringue, none of the egg white taste that I despise; texture very light and crisp, w the walnut crumble and the slight tartness of the pomegranate, made this a really yummy dessert; oh, and of course the nutella (housemade, mind you!) was divine
