Spicy miso ramen - 2 J's comment > not bad; this definitely had a kick to it, but nothing unmanageable; toppings passable, but nothing spectacular (same toppings for all the ramen) |

Daikoku ramen w kotteri broth - 2 J's comment > the kotteri broth was richer than the original and I thought a touch more flavorful |

Daikoku ramen - 2 J's comment > the lightest pork broth ramen I've ever had, not particularly bad per se, but just not my ideal broth |

Tsukemen - 2 J's comment > strangely, the noodles were the same as the ones above, but the broth was distinctly different from any of the above; tsukemen to tsukemen though, YVR's Tai Sho Ken takes this one |

Small beef bowl - 2 J's comment > very generous amt of meat and cooked well too, almost juicy; sadly the rice underneath was drowned in the beef sauce, making it more like soup than rice w beef jus |

Salad - 2 J's comment > the Daikokuya house dressing was OK, but as w the beef bowl, waaay too much! It was dressing soup w shredded cabbage |
