El Flamin Taco on Vermont

November 14, 2014

Torta Cubana: Refried beans, milanesa steak, jack cheese, al pastor, sausage, eggs, ham, 1/2 avocado, sour cream - 2+

J's comment > very well done! excellent balance of all ingredients, despite not having a lot of avocado, the butteriness of the avocado still permeated the entire sandwich; loved that the amt of bread was thinnest I've ever seen for a sandwich; steak was a bit tough and chewy, but even so, still very tasty

Variety of tacos - 2
Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Lingua

J's comment > all the meats were sadly dry and touch salty; the al pastor (the signature) was definitely lacking in quantity next to the other two tacos; what a shame; La Taqueria in YVR still takes this

The yellow chunk on top looked like a hunk of butter, but it's actually pineapple
