Peking Duck, Course #1: Crispy duck skin w pancakes - 2+
J's comment > very crisp skin, strong duck flavor, some pieces had some duck meat still attached (exactly the way I like it); pancakes a tad thick, but held up very well, no ripping or tearing when grabbing a piece from the stack; exactly the same as previous visit |

Deep fried sea bass in spicy salt and pepper - 2+
J's comment > thin batter on the fish slightly crisp, definitely not soft nor soggy; fish cooked perfectly, even better than last visit's; also chunkier than last visit's; not spicy at all, well seasoned w the salt and pepper but could be a tad spicier for just the right amt of kick |

Honey Garlic spareribs - 2+
J's comment > slightly crisp, just the right amt of honey & garlic, not too sweet; not too meaty, lots of actual bones (it is spareribs after all), but I personally like the meat around bones |
 |
Pan fried beef with snap peas - 2
J's comment > not bad; very tender beef; snap peas tender, none of the stringiness that some beans have |
 |
Peking Duck, Course #2: Diced duck meat w lettuce wrap - 1
J's comment > don't know what happened but this was awful... meat was dry and there was too much bamboo, causing it to 'smell' (I dislike bamboo); other diners at the table advised that they had some sort of cartilage in their portions too |

Complimentary cookies - 2
J's comment > the round ones were the best of the bunch, crisp and crunchy, tad greasy though as it is deep fried; the yellow square ones were more like chinese 'brownies' but without the chocolate, instead with lotus seed paste in between |
 |
Complimentary red & green bean soup - 2
J's comment > quite flavorful as bean soups go; not too water nor thick, good viscosity |
