Peking Duck: First Course, skin wrap - 2

J's comment > not bad; very crisp skin, but absolutely no meat at all on any piece (testament to the skill, but not my preferred version of peking duck)

Crispy rice w assorted seafood - 2

J's comment > not bad; lovely crispy rice that didn't get too soggy after dousing it in the seafood jus; seafood was passable, not fishy at the very least

Fried chicken - 2

J's comment > not bad; good crispy skin as last visit's, but most pieces were dry

Deep fried sliced roll - 2

Steamed sliced roll - 2

J's comment > not bad; very soft buns; lovely crisp exterior on the deep fried version, perfect for drowning in the condensed milk that it comes with :D

Beef w honey sauce - 2

J's comment > not too sweet but definite honey tones; beef passable, not the most tender pieces but doable

Chinese pickles w shredded pork soup - 2

J's comment > nothing pickly about this soup; your avg chicken soup, but w pork bits

Peking Duck: Second course, lettuce wrap - 2

J's comment > not as good as the sauteed shredded duck meat that you can get instead for the second course; I could barely taste the duck flavor

Smoked flavor squab - 2

J's comment > tender w lots of smoky flavor as advertised, but skin could be a lot crisper; I still prefer the original squab

Dried bean curd in special sauce - 2

J's comment > despite being a dry tofu, it was actually quite moist, and flavorful to boot; still, tofu to tofu, I'll still pick golden deep fried tofu (eg. @ Kirin @ Starlight Casino) any day over this

Sauteed pea leaves - 2

J's comment > your avg pea tips, tender, but nothing exceptional

Black cod fillet w spicy bean sauce - 1

J's comment > slightly fishy, obviously defrosted, not even served hot; not spicy at all, quite bland actually
