Speed cooking
Melamine plates heating up right on the teppan grill before the chef started

Extra Comment
The Entertainment Book has a voucher for BOGO entree which is what we all used. FYI, even if your reservation is at Xpm, you won't get seated until there are enough people to fill an entire section of the teppan grill, whether it is 1/2 hr or even an hr.
In summary, this is definitely a 'gimmick' restaurant, for the show aspect more than the food. If you've never seen teppanyaki, for sure, come for the show. If you're looking for good food, go someplace else. For the best steak in town, I recommend Pourhouse, which is better on par with Gotham's best, but less pricey.
