Salmon Oshi Sushi - 2

J's comment > not bad; moist, almost perfect amt of salmon to rice; Minami still takes it, but a passable sub in a pinch

Tonkotsu Udon: Udon noodles in a pork & chicken bone broth, w chashu, chopped green onions, bean sprouts & baby bok choy - 2

J's comment > your avg tonkotsu broth, not too rich nor salty; good pieces of chashu, marbly; udon noodles slightly al dente

Curry Udon: Udon noodles served in spicy Japanese curry dashi soup w beef, onions and chopped green onions - 2

J's comment > classic Japanese curry, not spicy actually; beef overdone and slightly dry; as above, noodles on the al dente side; Shibuyatei still the best for Japanese beef curry udon

Tempura: 2 shrimp, 1 yam & 1 zucchini - 2

J's comment > batter crisp, veggies soft and shrimp crisp; a decent tempura, but nothing I haven't had before many times over

Spicy Tan Tan Udon: Udon noodles served in spicy miso based soup, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, baby bok choy, black sesame, chili oil, chopped green onions and ground pork - 2

J's comment > extremely spicy; not the expected tan tan flavor though, soup also too thin for a real tan tan broth; needs a lot more pork too
