Mushroom & Gruyere Tart w onion puree, thyme, green salad - 2

J's comment > not bad; very flaky and fluffy pie crust, most importantly, not soggy despite the amt of mushrooms on it; generous amt of mushrooms, flavor present

Wild BC Coho Salmon w celeriac noodle, celery root puree, gremolata vinaigrette, mustard micro-greens - 2

J's comment > not bad; very moist and almost juicy salmon, not fishy at all; would have liked a bit more puree but pretty good as is

Soup of the day: Onion veloute - 2

J's comment > decent amt of onion flavor without being overpowering; just the right amt of butter and flour, not heavy nor too rich

Meats: Soppressata, Bresaola, Duck Pastrami, Salmon Rilette
Cheeses: Bleu BĂȘnedictin, Paillot de chevre, Taleggio

J's comment > meats and cheeses passable, but nothing in particular stood out; the house made salmon rilette was actually a bit fishy, and the house made duck pastrami was impossible to cut through, hence a tad chewy

Heirloom Bean Cassoulet w confit pork cheeks, chicken thighs, bacon-tomato ragout, herb bread crumbs - 2

J's comment > very heavy; flavors not too strong; meats on the tender side, but still firm

Salad: Local green salad, tarragon Dijon dressing, crostini's - 2

J's comment > your avg salad...

Terrine: In house pork, wild mushrooms, juniper scented - 2

J's comment > firm and chunky, exactly like a terrine should be, but it didn't captivate me

Salted Chocolate Mousse w chantilly, shaved chocolate - 2

J's comment > interesting texture, in addition to the mousse texture, there was a thin layer of cake that made this different; definitely rich

Bread Pudding w vanilla ice cream, brandied caramel - 2

J's comment > same as last visit's, a dry form of bread pudding, needs more caramel as before; apple crisps a nice touch but unnecessary
