Fry Bread - 2+

J's comment > insanely crisp and divine w any dip; essentially the crisp exterior that I love on the Chinese deep fried silky rolls (see eg. here), but without the dough that I don't care for; we initially just got the crab dip but needed more bread so we asked for more; FYI, you will be charged for extra

VFC Potted Dungeness Crab: Local Dungeness crab, baby shrimp, mascarpone herb cream, house pickled vegetables, fry bread - 2

J's comment > not bad; this was the dish that set off the round 2 Fry Bread; crab dip OK, decent amt of crab and shrimp, but the dip was slightly watery

Pacific Cod (4oz) served w garlic confit roasted potatoes, market vegetables, thyme beurre blanc - 2

J's comment > not bad; decent cod, cooked well; flavors OK; good, but nothing special

VFC Fish’n’Chips GI Honey Lager battered Pacific cod, famous fries, apple fennel slaw, house tartar sauce - 2

J's comment > good fry on the cod, batter on the crisp side, not soggy at all; fries passable

VFC Clam Chowder: Boston-style clam chowder, fresh clams, theyme cream, bacon-wrapped bacon (cup) - 2

J's comment > your avg clam chowder, on the heavy side cause of the cream, texture thick as expected; decent but nothing extraordinary

VFC Burger: House-made burger, aged cheddar, house-smoked bacon steak, onion-ring - 2

J's comment > avg burger; soft bun, but this is definitely a seafood joint
