Westender Korean Restaurant

AYCE pork belly - 2
(plate 2 of 2)

J's comment > generous amt of meat, not as overcooked as the first plate, but still overcooked - chewy and tough; at least had decent balance of meat to fat ratio; flavor OK

Pa Jeori: Green Onion Salad - 2

J's comment > dressing good, makes the greens very palatable; too much onions though

Condiments for the pork belly

J's comment > basically you wrap the pork belly along with the other condiments in the lettuce pieces before munching AKA Korean burrito; combo OK, but I'd still prefer to just munch on better quality pork belly on its own

Dwen-Jang: Bean paste soup - 2

J's comment > slightly spicy; this was literally as described - the bean paste you see in the little container in the pic above, but boiled in water

Extra Comment
FYI, it's all you can eat for $15 Sun to Thurs, and then $17 Fri & Sat. We were interested in getting the shabu shabu, but the manager strongly suggested the pork belly.
