Daily special: Baked pineapple bun w BBQ pork (cha shu) filling - 3

J's comment > insanely soft bun w the crispest pineapple topping & a generous amt of bold flavored cha shu; seriously Fraser Court, this should be on the menu all the time!

#44 Rice in hot pot w assorted chinese sausages - 2+

J's comment > very flavorful rice and generous amt of meats; rice was a smidgen hard but I prefer my rice texture this way

#2 Steamed pork dumplings (shiu-mai) - 2+

J's comment > very juicy and fresh siu mai; bonus: still tasty after it cooled down (AKA my second piece)

#60 Baked egg custard tarts - 2

J's comment > not bad; tart base flaky; egg custard texture firm, but would have liked a slightly stronger flavor

#39 Stuffed eggplants w shrimp paste - 2

J's comment > not bad; very soft eggplants; shrimp paste firm yet bouncy

#61 Deep fried black sesame balls - 2

J's comment > not bad; excellent mochi texture; black sesame on the inside was good, but would have liked a bit more

#130 Lean pork w century eggs congee - 2

J's comment > decent congee, nothing extraordinary but does the trick

#1 Fraser Court prawn dumplings (Ha Kow) - 2

J's comment > passable ha kow; wrapper still a bit sticky but prawn center firm and juicy

#85 Deep fried squid tentacles w pepper & salt - 2

J's comment > good flavors, but batter was a bit soft and squid was a touch too firm

#55 Rice Flour Rolls wraps w chinese donut - 2

J's comment > donut on the chewy side, could be much better

#93 Sauteed mustard greens w minced garlic - 2

J's comment > mustard greens a bit bitter as expected; avg mandatory chinese veggies for the otherwise completely 'golden-hued' table

Daily special: Soy sauce stir fried rice rolls - 2

J's comment > rice rolls much too firm, I prefer mine softer; soy flavor was just on top and not a lot of it either

#62 Steamed buns w golden creamy custard - 2

J's comment > lovely liquidy center as it was last time, but breading was too thick and I would have liked more custard
