Panago on Tyne

January 1, 2014

Philly steak (small): Jalapeño white sauce, steak, caramelized onions, green peppers, sautéed mushrooms, mozzarella cheese - 2

J's comment > not bad; generous amt of cheese, esp compared to the other three below; decent amt of actual steak as well; equal ratio of meat to veggies

Butter Chicken (small): Butter chicken sauce, grilled chicken, caramelized onions, red peppers, mozzarella - 2

J's comment > needs a lot more butter chicken sauce, but the butter chicken flavor was indeed present which was unexpected; also needs more cheese and chicken

Pepperoni (small): Italian tomato sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese - 2

J's comment > needs more cheese; adequate amt of pepperoni, pepperoni itself passable but not great

Beef Taco (small): Fresh salsa, ground beef, red onions, mozzarella, sour cream, lettuce, fresh tomatoes, cheddar cheese - 2

J's comment > needs more cheese and beef; this was way more lettuce and dough than anything else

Dips
(in descending order of favs)

Italian Garlic
Jalapeno Ranch
Blue Cheese

J's comment > addictive italian garlic - everyone fought over this sauce; ranch and blue cheese decent and either will do in a pinch, but both paled in comparison to the italian garlic

Extra Comment
The gang was feeling like pizza, and due to the recent pizza showdown, I called the shots on Panago as I remembered it had the most variety of flavors. We got this delivered and the pizza wasn't as hot as it could be, but that was to be expected.
