Foie Gras rice bowl w chestnuts, daikon, unagi glaze - 2

J's comment > not bad; sadly not as addictive as it once was; foie still very flavorful and moist, but could definitely use a lot more portion-wise

Rice crackers, spicy aioli - 2

J's comment > not bad; very crisp rice w a mochi texture in the center; would have liked a touch more aioli to cut through the heaviness

Parisienne Gnocchi w radishes, radish green pistou, buttermilk ricotta - 2

J's comment > not bad; gnocchi still very soft and melt-in-your-mouth tender but something was lacking; in reviewing the previous pic, the actual gnocchi isn't as golden butter yellow as it can be

Mushrooms, sugar snap peas, egg, soy yuzu brown butter - 2

J's comment > strong mushroom flavor that completely overwhelmed the complementary flavors, which if you wanted to taste you will have to eat on its own; not the best meld

Raw scallops, pomegranate red curry oil, daikon, green apple - 2

J's comment > decent flavors, but scallops just a touch fishy although they were fresh

Banoffee Pie: Caramelized bananas, shortbread, cream, miso caramel - 2

J's comment > not bad; all the listed flavors and items exactly as advertised; beautifully ripe banana that was neither mushy nor raw w the thinnest veneer of caramel on top (I would have liked a touch more caramel myself though); shortbread very crumbly (definitely didn't cheap out on the butter thank goodness); miso actually present in the caramel too!

Cordova: Cucumber, jasmine, orange - 2

J's comment > refreshing, but it was like 90% cucumber, 10% everything else

Martini w caper - 2

J's comment > very strong but smooth
